when new houses get built in our neighborhood, mom likes to take the leftover building materials — bricks, rocks, marble. she thinks they are useful somehow and will improve the quality of our lives.

tee off
it's difficult to sit outside for long periods of time without fearing for your life since we are right next to a tee off box and this golf club is teaming with members with bad aim. our guest bedroom is filled with golf balls we've collected from our backyard and a few from inside the house that have found their way in through a window. dad sells them on ebay.
