chinese knotted fish as ceiling fan pull
a relative of mine gave this to me when i was in taiwan13 years ago. she made it. i don't remember which relative. i am learning to make it now.

blurry turrell
my brisk walk to the registrar's office requires me to go through this james turrell installation. i always come out dizzy on the other end of the tunnel.

corner turrell
the lights change from red to blue and back again, very slowly and subtley. i think i've been through this tunnel maybe 30 times in my lifetime and it's always been in transition with both blue and red lights on at a low intensity, but mainly it always looks blue. this is the first time i've seen it red. i had no idea. what are the chances? maybe this means i'll win the lottery.
